For the Glory of the Black Dragon
Gold Piece Limit:
A village in the southermost reaches of the county Novasad.
Located upon the King’s Highway as one approaches Pahrail, Bellmare is a place frequented by nobles and their entourage to get away from the crowds and to experience the hospitality and the hunt that the village caters to.
While the permanent population is not very large, the numbers can swell during the times of year when nobles flood to the court of Duchess Ouvren. the village boasts several inns, all of them serving good to fine quality meals and charging as much as 4 times the standard fare one might find in a city. Even along the King’s Highway the prices are extreme, but this serves to keep the common person away from this secluded oasis.
One of the main draws in Bellmare is the Market square set up near the center of the small community. Rather than dozens of tiny stalls, wagons or store fronts, a single market has been set up and supplied by the mercantile giant House Asuras.
Here guests at Bellmare, or more likely their servants or valets, can purchase just about anything required during their stay, from hunting and riding supplies to rare herbs and spices so their Jandaloran chefs can prepare the day’s hunt to their lofty standards. The house maintains a manor located near the square and a walled warehouse where many purchased goods are stored while awaiting a buyer.
