Coney's Well (Inn)

Located on the Olde Varuban Road, midway between Fort Pahrail and Strale. The small cluster of buildings at this way-station include a small forge, a temple to Chardun, a shrine to Tanil, two inns, a corral for live stock, a large, deep well and a storage warehouse for the 7 Prominent merchant families of Calastia (known as “the Seven”), this facility is watched by guards from the Melcator merchant family.

Coney’s Well is the largest and oldest of the buildings here, and many travelers simply refer to the cluster of buildings as Coney’s Well.
The Inn is a large three story building, which seems to have been added on to over the years. The building is overgrown with lush gardens that seem to be over-growing the tall wooden fences that enclose these gardens. Wild rabbits run in abundance through the thickets of this region; these critters and the great stone well at the center of the hard-packed earth clearing certainly is what gave the inn its name.
